A community is a group of people helping each other reach their potential.

Troy, Alabama is a great place to learn and grow.  I'm a dad, a husband, a church leader, a small businessman and a volunteer.  I'm a candidate for city council because I believe that our community is best served by engaged, dedicated, down-to-earth leaders.

We all share the responsibility for preparing our community for the future.  I'm asking for your vote in the city council election on August 25 because I can help put our community's values into action.  When we work together there is no limit to how strong our community can become!

Priorities

These are my kids Josephine and David.  Thinking about their futures helped me define a set of priorities for service in local government:

  • dedication to fiscal responsibility

  • support for public education

  • commitment to transparency

I'm convinced that making these priorities the focus of our city council's decisions will benefit every member of our community.

Where is District 4?

Troy, Alabama's City Council District 4 starts north of Campbell Field, extends south to Smart Road and east to downtown.  We're fortunate to have families, college students and even a few horses, cows and chickens in our district.  Citizens of District 4 live in single family homes, multi unit residences and manufactured housing.  We're a big part of Troy's economy: hotels, restaurants, municipal operations, locally-owned multi-million dollar industry and many successful small businesses!
